Peter Aylsworth
President
Peter is a licensed architect who has been designing buildings for over 25 years. He currently practices in the Nashville area where he lives with his wife and three teenage children. He has served on the various boards, ranging from city design review boards, and non-profit boards to local school PTA's.
He is passionate about creating environments that facilitate solid relationships, where people can be known, and truly loved. Peter is deeply concerned about the impact trafficking and sexual abuse has on boys and young men and sees the long-term value in providing a refuge where they can find healthy connections, peace, and hope. Where they can be loved.

After nearly 25 years in the Seattle workforce, I have chosen to take a step back, slow life down and try to figure out how God has called me to make a difference in this broken world.
Just hours after hearing another horrible news story and having to explain to my own girls how children are sold into slavery, I was approached with the opportunity to be involved with Walk Reclaimed. I don’t believe that was merely a coincidence. This is a chance to help fulfill a very real need.
My previous experience has been volunteering with Muscular Dystrophy Association and with Seattle Adaptive Sports, both organizations geared toward helping disabled children and teens, giving them a sense of belonging to something more. I consider this to be a similar cause, helping these victims of human trafficking, to understand that they are valued, they are now safe and giving them hope for their future.

I have worked as a certified athletic trainer for the past 18 years. During that time I have worked with high school and college athletes in both Philomath and Pendleton Oregon. I enjoy working with high school age kids and see the struggles they face growing up. This year I made a decision to follow God's lead and invest in our youth here in Pendleton by volunteering as a Younglife leader.
I believe kids need to feel loved in an environment where they feel safe and valued. I believe in Walk Reclaimed because it will aid in rescuing young men out of trafficking and give them that place where they can feel safe, find hope in their future, and know the power of God's love for them.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Leana is a gifted young Southern California artist. Having completed her AA-T in Studio Art with Los Angeles Harbor College. She is currently working towards her Bachelors in Studio Arts for graphic design at California State University: Long Beach. She enjoys expressing herself through art of all kinds including drawing, painting, cooking, baking and playing guitar.
Combining her passion for arts and design with her desire to serve God's people, Leana contributes to Walk Reclaimed with branding, web design, and all things art.

In one way or another Jesse has been involved in youth work for most of his adult life. When he heard about an organization that was caring for survivors of sex trafficking he felt he had to work with them and started training to be a mentor. The organization worked with young traumatized women and he told their young lady teaching the class that he knew they were not going to assign one of these girls a 60 year old, 6'3” man with a deep scary voice as a mentor. She agreed, but they both felt that God had called him for some reason and he needed to go through the training. One night after class he told the instructor his idea for a home and she said, “That's great but there is something you haven't thought of. You and your wife raised six sons, and you were a scoutmaster for over 20 years; you are uniquely qualified to deal with boys, and there are no homes for boys in the entire country.”
Vanda Hulse

Vanda's preparation for this next stage in her life included loving, nurturing and home schooling six boys, as well as working with neurodevelopmentally disabled children and their parents for several years. But it has also been a journey of faith.
Several years ago, Vanda prayed a very unique prayer. She said, “God, things are going really well, we have the money we need, we have a big beautiful house, life is good. This is a little boring. I don't want a normal, American dream sort of life. I want something more.” Life has not been the same since. Everything began to unravel and come unglued. It has been painful and trying, but God shows his strength through our weakness and it has been rewarding too. We are ready to Walk Reclaimed!
